Careerscape is recruiting for a Wyoming natural resources agency that needs a Wildlife Biologist to study game and non-game species and manage wildlife populations. You'll conduct surveys, analyze data, and make management recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct wildlife population surveys and monitoring
- Capture and mark animals for research studies
- Analyze habitat conditions and make recommendations
- Collect biological samples and data
- Write technical reports and management plans
- Collaborate with landowners and sportsmen groups
- Present findings to public and stakeholders
- Assist with hunting season management
- Maintain field equipment and vehicles
Requirements
- Master degree in Wildlife Biology or related field
- 2-4 years of wildlife research or management experience
- Strong knowledge of Wyoming wildlife species
- Experience with wildlife capture and handling techniques
- Proficiency with data analysis and statistics
- Valid driver license with clean record
- Physical fitness for backcountry fieldwork
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills
- Hunting or outdoor recreation background valued
