Job Overview:

A Concrete Form Setter or Finisher will be responsible for forming, placing, finishing concrete and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc.

Responsibilities for Concrete Finisher/ Form Setter:

• Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels and other equipment.
• Bolt, nail, align and block under forms.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using pic and shovel.
• Work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
• Work within defined standards of accuracy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Concrete Finisher/ Form Setter:

• Ability to use arms and hand to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
