AB Staffing Solutions is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in Okeechobee, FL for the 2025–2026 academic year . If you’re passionate about helping students build confidence and communication skills, we’d love to meet you.

Position Details:

• Location: Okeechobee, FL (easy commute from Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, and surrounding areas)
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Schedule: Follows the school district calendar
• Contract: Full 2025–2026 school year
• Pay Range: $1,400–$1,600 per week (W2)

What You’ll Do: 

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support screenings, evaluations, and IEP implementation
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to meet student goals
• Document progress, collect data, and maintain student records
• Create fun, engaging, and effective learning environments

Requirements:

• Active Florida SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR/BLS Cert.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School and IEP experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
