Job Summary:

As a Pest Control Technician , you’ll inspect properties, diagnose pest problems, and deliver treatment plans with confidence and professionalism. This role offers flexible hours , paid training , and commission opportunities —making it ideal for experienced techs or those ready to start a new hands-on career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect homes and businesses for pests and assess treatment needs
• Apply pesticides and treatment plans safely and effectively
• Educate clients on prevention and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of services and inspections
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and NYS regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid NYS driver’s license with clean record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, use ladders, and work in various conditions
• Preferred but not required : NYS pesticide applicator license (we’ll help you get certified if needed)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods and have experience with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and pest-free environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
• Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Utilize various pest control techniques, including chemical treatments, traps, and exclusion methods.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up actions.
• Educate clients on preventative measures to avoid future infestations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and travel to job sites as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, or farming practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles.
