Night and Evening Front Desk Representative Location Kalamazoo, MI :

We are actively seeking a 2nd/3rd swing shifter for our desk team at the Kalamazoo Fairfield! This will include covering 4 shifts a week which will be a mixture between 2nd and 3rd shift.

2nd shift is from 3pm-11pm

3rd is from 11pm-7am

Call offs are not permitted within the first 90 days. Transportation and housing are not provided by the hotel. Being on time is crucial for hotel operations.

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and addressing inquiries and issues promptly. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that our guests expect at our hotel.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage phone systems effectively, addressing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints to the best of your ability and training.
• Perform night audit duties (as scheduled) by following training and shift packet with step-by-step instructions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment
• Respond promptly to guest cases, and front desk email

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality management is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette, computer and communication skills.
• FOSSE POS system knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Open availability is extremely helpful for scheduling.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
