This role is perfect for a creative professional passionate about visual storytelling and design. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with planning and project teams to translate technical content into engaging, visually compelling materials. You will design documents, graphics, and presentations that communicate complex ideas clearly while inspiring public engagement and decision-making. Accountabilities

  • Design graphics, charts, maps, and illustrations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Develop branding, logos, colors, and materials for planning initiatives.
  • Create layouts for reports, slide decks, presentation boards, and other printed/digital materials.
  • Prepare promotional materials for events, social media graphics, and project websites.
  • Collaborate with planning and project teams to translate technical content into visually compelling stories.
  • Support document production using Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
  • Ensure design consistency and high-quality visual standards across all projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years professional experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience preparing and formatting medium-to-large-scale report documents (20–200 pages) preferred.
  • Background in technical writing, journalism, or storytelling is desirable.
  • Familiarity with community planning, local government operations, or economic development is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual problem-solving skills.
