Job Title : BM Mainframe Developer (Government Taxation, COBOL, DB2, WebSphere, MQ)

Location: Albany ,NY(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, managing IT teams of 25+ members, overseeing complex initiatives, and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Proven experience serving as an Enterprise Architect or equivalent, with responsibility for system development life cycle (SDLC) management, IT service delivery, and application infrastructure oversight.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale IT projects supporting thousands of users, including enterprise-wide system implementations, with a strong focus on application architecture and development using Java, .NET, and COBOL.
• Hands-on software development experience utilizing COBOL, Java, and/or .NET technologies.
• Experience in project coordination, leading technology and shared service teams for major initiatives within state or government financial organizations.
• Experience working with IBM enterprise technologies, including WebSphere Application Server (WAS), COBOL, IBM DB2, IBM MQSeries, JCL, and IBM DataStage.
• Proven leadership in continuity of operations planning (COOP) and disaster recovery initiatives, particularly in mission-critical, high-availability environments.
• Experience supporting a government taxation organization, including business analysis, technical design, application development, system maintenance, and end-user support for complex tax return processing systems.
