About Us:

We are a growing, collaborative private group practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate mental health services to children and families. Our practice values clinical excellence, work-life balance, and a supportive team culture. We are currently seeking licensed therapists and student/pre-licensed therapists with experience working with children and adolescents to join our team.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is passionate about child and adolescent mental health, skilled in evidence-based practices, and thrives in a team-oriented, client-focused environment. You’ll have the flexibility of setting your own schedule while being supported by our administrative and clinical team. This role includes individual therapy for children, parent support, and collaboration with schools and other care providers as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents addressing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.

· Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and ethical manner.

· Utilize evidence-based approaches such as play therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, or other child-focused modalities.

· Offer caregiver support and psychoeducation as part of a family-centered approach.

· Collaborate with school personnel and other external providers as clinically appropriate.

· Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and optional clinical supervision.

· Maintain up-to-date licensure, malpractice insurance, and adherence to all HIPAA and ethical standards.

Qualifications For Contracted Therapists:

· Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

· Active licensure in New York: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD (Required).

· Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.

· Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently within a team-oriented group practice model.

· Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.

Qualifications For Students and Pre-licensed Therapists:

· Students currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

· Active limited permit to practice therapy in New York (Required only for pre-licensed graduates).

· Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently within a team-oriented group practice model.
