Job Title: Tax SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tax Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, business, nonprofit, estate, trust, and gift tax returns. You will also assist with financial planning and regular write-up work for our clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and review individual, business, nonprofit, estate, trust, and gift tax returns.
+ Assist with financial planning and regular write-up work for clients.
+ Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for all engagements.
Essential Skills
+ CPA license or active CPA candidate.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a preference for audit or tax experience.
+ Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and CCH Engagement is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, providing flexibility to suit your needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Pikesville, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
end of year discretionary christmas bonus. no tax season bonus but will pay what someone needs
Workplace Type
This is a hybrid position in Pikesville,MD.
