Job Title: Senior IT Helpdesk Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. This role serves as the primary technical resource for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and contribute to process improvements that enhance service quality. Salary:

  • $75,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

Standard schedule is weekday business hours Monday – Friday, flexible hours (40–50 hours/week). Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for critical incidents or projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT helpdesk requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune).
  • Manage user identities, licenses, and endpoint devices.
  • Perform basic server and network administration tasks.
  • Document solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with vendors and escalate complex issues as needed.


Required Abilities:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and helpdesk best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows OS & related troubleshooting, including event log analysis.
  • Strong conditional logic comprehension & analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred fluency in English and Spanish.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate/ Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with PowerShell (reporting/querying), Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN).

 

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily remote; occasional travel to branch locations.
  • Requires sitting or standing at a computer workstation, sometimes for extended periods of time.
  • Required to stand, walk, sit, and use your hands, reach with your hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and move at least 40 lbs (computer equipment and such).
  • On-call availability may be required.
