SH-784 Senior Data Quality Analyst, Indianapolis IN.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Quality Analyst to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and usability of our Immunization Information System (IIS) data. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing data validation processes, transforming raw provider data into trusted, actionable insights, and championing data quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of T-SQL, a proven ability to manage large datasets, and a passion for improving data health to support public health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess data quality across multiple IIS data sources and submission streams.
• Develop, execute, and automate robust data validation, cleansing, and standardization routines using T-SQL and other data tools.
• Proactively identify, document, investigate, and resolve complex data quality issues, anomalies, and patterns.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and healthcare providers to define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and business definitions.
• Design, create, and maintain dynamic data quality dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor system accuracy and provider compliance.
• Support data governance initiatives by contributing to metadata management, data lineage documentation, and quality measurement frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data defects and recommend process or system improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure delivered data consistently meets analytical and business needs.
• Prepare and present clear, concise reports for leadership that communicate data quality trends, predictions, and their impact on business intelligence.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data quality procedures, validation rules, and issue resolutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 3 5 years in a data quality, data analysis, or data management role, preferably within healthcare, public health, or a related government IT setting.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Health Informatics, or a related quantitative field. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in T-SQL for querying, analysis, and scripting is essential. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with data governance platforms is a strong plus.
• Location: This is a remote position. Occasional travel for team meetings or conferences may be required.
