Come work in the fast paced cannabis industry! We are hiring a Merchandising & Inventory Coordinator which will be based out of our Garden City location.

The ideal candidate for this role will have open availability and flexibility for the hours needed. The Merchandising & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining organized, fully stocked, and accurately priced sales floors while ensuring inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with store management, supervisors, and distribution teams to execute merchandising standards, manage incoming orders, and support product launches across multiple locations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm, between 35-40 hours a week. 

Pay - $18.00/hour

We have lots of expertise and knowledge in-house, and we will help you learn whatever you don't already know about the wide variety of cannabis products.

Basic Functions of the Job:

Merchandising

• Review and maintain all product sets to ensure accuracy and visual standards.
• Add new items to existing sets as needed.
• Move pegs, shelves, and products to accommodate new items.
• Ensure display cases and refrigerators are fully stocked.
• Confirm all price tags are visible and display the correct pricing.
• Create and place runner tags for all shelves.
  
• Other duties as assigned.

Luvbuds Product Management

• Communicate with the Store Manager regarding Luvbuds delivery schedules and quantity limits.
• Price Luvbuds items correctly within the designated price field.
• Ensure all Luvbuds products have the correct stickers.
• Confirm products are properly spread out and merchandised throughout the store.
• Other duties as assigned.

Order Receiving & Inventory Management

• Receive and process orders from the warehouse to store locations.
• Verify all items against the manifest to ensure accuracy.
• Confirm item quantities match the manifest.
• Accept manifests in Metrc once all items are verified and correct.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed and signed.
• Log into required systems and websites to import inventory.
• Import all items accurately into the system.
• Organize and store backstock items properly.
• Stock all required items on the sales floor.
• Apply stickers to any items that require them.
• Place new items into designated sets.
• Adjust existing sets as needed to create space for new products.
• Ensure all products are evenly stocked and displayed.
• Verify pricing accuracy against the item and the cost sheet.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Valid MED Badge (must be current and in good standing)
• Valid driver's license
• Willing and able to travel and drive long distances
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 lbs
• Strong understanding of computers and mobile applications, including:
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Docs
  • Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
• Strong communication skills between stores and supervisors
• Understanding of distribution center operations, including inventory flow and order fulfillment
