Position Summary
As our Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring their visit is seamless and stress-free. From scheduling appointments to managing patient records, you’ll help keep our practice running smoothly while providing a warm, professional presence at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries with care and professionalism.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or optometric setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using office and scheduling software.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle patient inquiries calmly and effectively.
