Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract opportunity in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with care plans.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Accurately document patient care, medications, and observations
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
Ability to work overnight shifts
Night shift opportunity
