Houston Electrical Construction is a trusted provider of electrical services for commercial public projects, primarily school districts K-12 in the Houston area. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid journeyman electrician license, a solid work ethic, and experience working on a variety of electrical systems and projects. This position requires travel to job sites, effective communication with clients and team members, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and ensure code compliance
• Lead or assist on commercial job sites
• Adhere to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and coworkers
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Texas
• 3+ years of electrical experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license, candidate will be vetted per the State of Texas background check to work on school property
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
