General Manager – Marine Distribution & Warehouse Operations

Our client is a leading marine, yacht, and boating products distributor serving retail and wholesale customers across the Southeast. They are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, and team performance.
About the Role
You will manage day-to-day operations, improve warehouse workflows, lead staff, coordinate logistics, and ensure accurate inventory control. This role requires someone who understands marine parts, boating products, and the operational needs of marine retail, warehouse, or distribution environments .
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse, logistics, and distribution operations.
Oversee receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and productivity.
Manage shipping schedules, transportation, and fleet operations.
Build and maintain vendor and customer relationships.
Ensure safety, compliance, and high service standards.
Required Experience
Marine retail, warehouse, or distribution management experience REQUIRED.
(Marine parts, hardware, accessories, coatings, equipment, or related boating/yachting supplies.)
Proven leadership in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to train, motivate, and develop teams.
