Job Description

A respected and growing legal practice is looking to add a seasoned Banking, Finance, and Creditors' Rights Bankruptcy Attorney to its team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in representing financial institutions and creditors in complex financial and bankruptcy matters. A portable book of business is valued, though not required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Advise and represent lenders, financial institutions, and other creditors in banking, finance, and bankruptcy-related matters
* Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security instruments, and related financial documentation
* Represent clients in bankruptcy court and other judicial or regulatory proceedings
* Stay current with developments in banking, finance, and bankruptcy law through legal research and continuing education

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Minimum of 3 years experience in banking, finance, and creditor-side bankruptcy matters
* Demonstrated expertise in U.S. banking, finance, and bankruptcy regulations and litigation procedures.
* Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
* Capable of managing multiple matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
