Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary Prepare incoming and outgoing mail for distribution. Loads and unloads mail containers. May move equipment and operate motorized vehicles for the purpose of transporting mail. This is a split schedule. Mon - Thurs, 3am - 6am and 9pm - 12am. Friday, 6am-9am and 9pm-12am.Responsibilities

  • Reviews, verifies, and scans mail and freight. Ensures mail is in suitable condition for processing.
  • Safely operates vehicles for the purpose of loading/unloading mail.
  • Lifts and unloads containers of mail or parcels onto equipment for transport.
  • Builds and breaks down mail and freight.
  • Removes containers of sorted mail or parcels and transfers them to designated areas according to established procedures.
  • Accepts and checks containers of mail or parcels from large volume mailers, couriers, and contractors.Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • Warehouse Agent Learning Plan
  • Postal Training
  • TSA - Cargo Security Awareness
  • FAA - Dangerous Goods AwarenessPreferred Skills
  • Attention to detail: The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently.
  • Focus on Quality: Setting high quality standards and striving for continuous improvement and to secure quality.
  • Situation awareness: Has and gains insight into situations, problems and processes.
  • Deconstructs problems and systematically investigates the various components.
  • Has a complete picture of the context and overview of the whole problem
