Job Title: 6th Grade Teacher

The 6th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing engaging instruction across core subjects while integrating biblical truth into the learning experience. The teacher will foster a nurturing, Christ-centered environment that encourages academic growth, spiritual development, and social maturity in students.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Bible) in alignment with curriculum standards and the school’s Christian philosophy of education.
Integrate biblical worldview and values into daily teaching, classroom discussions, and student interactions.
Assess student learning through a variety of methods, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate grade records.
Establish a positive, orderly, and respectful classroom environment that reflects Christ-like character.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and spiritual growth.
Participate in chapel services, school events, and other activities that promote the spiritual and community life of the school.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating a personal commitment to Christ, Christian values, and ongoing professional growth.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
Active Christian faith and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to connect with students at the middle school level.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
Maintain a lifestyle that models Christian values inside and outside the classroom.
Actively participate in the spiritual life of the school, including prayer, chapel, and discipleship activities.
Ability to perform standard teaching duties, including standing, walking, and classroom supervision.
